Ponderosa Ranch opened in Sept of 2006 as an extension of the original concept created by my mother, Judy Van Horn in 2003. She had opened her personal home and life to those in need of 24-hour personal care in the Champions area. Cancer claimed Judy's life in 2011, so I incorporated both houses into my business operation. Permanent live-in caregivers are employed in both homes in order to ensure the best method for observing even the slightest change in your loved ones' conditions that could be missed due to shift changes or part-time personnel care workers. While quality of life is our main focus, we are dedicated to providing safety, security and stability everyday to our residents. We strive to create a welcome atmosphere for visitation by all family members at any time - "just like being home". Inquisitions/tours are welcome at any time by appointment.
