I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to every friend, family member, client, and supporter who voted for me and encouraged me during the Entrepreneur Impact Contest.

Although I did not make the final cut, I am truly grateful for the love, generosity, and support shown throughout this journey. Your kindness warmed my heart and reminded me that impact is not measured only by titles or contests, but by the people who believe in the work, the mission, and the purpose behind it.

Matters of the Heart ❤️

Your heart is more than an organ — it is the rhythm of your life, your strength, your energy, and your ability to keep showing up for the people and purpose God has placed in your life.

This month, as we focus on Cardiovascular Health, let’s remember that taking care of the heart is not just about avoiding disease — it’s about building a lifestyle that supports strength, endurance, circulation, energy, and healthy aging.

Heart Health Tips to Remember:

❤️ Move your body daily
Walking, chair fitness, dancing, strength training, and low-impact cardio all help keep the heart strong.

❤️ Strength train at least 2 days a week
Muscle supports metabolism, balance, circulation, and overall heart health — especially as we age.

❤️ Watch your sodium intake
Too much salt can affect blood pressure. Season your food with herbs, spices, garlic, lemon, and flavor without overloading on sodium.

❤️ Eat heart-supportive foods
Add more fruits, vegetables, lean protein, beans, nuts, whole grains, and healthy fats to your meals.

❤️ Manage stress before it manages you
Prayer, deep breathing, laughter, rest, journaling, and quiet time can help calm the nervous system and support your heart.

❤️ Know your numbers
Blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and weight are important markers. Don’t guess — get checked and stay informed.

❤️ Listen to your body
Shortness of breath, chest discomfort, dizziness, swelling, unusual fatigue, or irregular heartbeat should never be ignored.

I completed the Verizon Digital Ready Winning Customers course, and one of my biggest takeaways is that growth starts with clarity — knowing who you serve, the problem you solve, and how to communicate your value with confidence.

At Fit Just4U Personal Training & Wellness Center, we are using digital tools to reach more adults 50+, caregivers, veterans, and community partners with safe, RN-led fitness and wellness support.

So often, we pour into everyone else and forget that we need care, kindness, joy, and restoration too.

Loving on yourself is not selfish.
It is necessary.

Here are a few fun ways to love on you today:

✔ Take a peaceful walk
✔ Put on your favorite music and dance
✔ Call a friend who makes you smile
✔ Drink more water and nourish your body
✔ Sit outside and enjoy fresh air
✔ Read something that inspires you
✔ Take a nap without guilt
✔ Cook yourself a colorful, heart-healthy meal
