Did you know?

According to United Network for Organ Sharing, 2.5% of unused organs are due to transportation issues, which equates to roughly 250 organs each year. 🛩️🚑

To put that in perspective, that is the equivalent of nearly 28 full 9-passenger Cessna Citation XLS aircraft.

For ENG Organ Recovery, that number reinforces why the right transportation partner matters.

We coordinate air and ground transportation with the communication, readiness, and care this mission demands, because every delay, handoff, and mile can make a difference.

In organ recovery, every handoff carries weight. 💜

One decision can leave a legacy that lives on. 💜

Registering as an organ, eye, and tissue donor is a simple step with the power to give hope, healing, and more time to someone waiting for a second chance.

At ENG Organ Recovery, we see the impact of donation and transplantation up close. Every donor matters. Every registration matters. Every “yes” has the potential to change a life. 🫶

A smooth flight starts long before takeoff. 🛩️

As a reminder, REAL ID requirements are in effect for domestic air travel. Passengers 18 and older need to present a REAL ID-compliant license or another TSA-accepted form of identification.
Before your next flight, take a quick look at your license and check for the star. ⭐

It is a simple step that helps keep travel smooth, compliant, and on schedule.

As Donate Life Month comes to a close, we’re carrying this reminder with us:

Behind every donor is a legacy.
Behind every transplant is a team.
Behind every mission is a life that matters. 💙💚

Cat Clay Wren and Kalee Blythe had the honor of attending HoustonMethodist’s Celebration of Life event, where donor families, recipients, care teams, and partners came together to honor the incredible impact of organ donation.

At ENG Organ Recovery, we’re grateful to support a mission built on trust, timing, and hope. ✈️

Thank you, Houston Methodist, for creating such a meaningful space to celebrate life and the people who make this work possible.

We’re looking forward to being in hashtag for the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) Transplant Management Forum 2026, April 29 to May 1.

Every conversation in this community carries weight because every mission ultimately points back to a patient, a donor, and a second chance at life.

At ENG Organ Recovery, we’re proud to stand alongside the people and organizations who make that work possible through trusted, mission-critical air and ground transportation

If you’ll be at TMF, we’d love to connect. Come see us at Booth 415.

This week is National Pediatric Transplant Week.

It is a time to recognize the children waiting, the families holding onto hope, and the donor families whose generosity makes second chances possible.

At ENG Organ Recovery, we understand that these missions carry real weight. Behind every handoff is a child, a family, and a team doing everything possible to help that transplant happen safely and on time.
If you would like to help create more second chances, ENG Organ Recovery invites you to join the Donate Life Texas donor registry. It only takes a moment to register, but that decision can mean everything to someone waiting for the transplant they need to survive.

The mission does not wait. Neither do we.

ENG Organ Recovery’s ground call out is 90 minutes, providing reliable, mission-critical support to keep time-sensitive movements on track when every handoff counts.

Because what happens on the ground matters just as much as what happens in the air.

Organ transport is a race against time.

Once an organ is recovered, the clock starts. Hearts and lungs generally remain viable for 4 to 6 hours, livers for 8 to 12, pancreases for 12 to 18, and kidneys for up to 24 to 36.

That is why this work depends on more than movement. It depends on tight coordination, clear communication, and a team that knows how to operate when every minute matters.

At ENG Organ Recovery, we know this work is about far more than transportation. It is about helping life-saving missions move with precision, urgency, and trust.
