Thank you to everyone who came to GCSHP’s Fall Walk to benefit the TSHP PAC! We raised more than $140 in donations that will help strengthen pharmacy’s voice for the 2027 Texas Legislative Session, and got to enjoy the lovely views of downtown Houston at Buffalo Bayou Park!

Please join us for an ACPE-accredited continuing education presentation from one of our local pharmacy residents. This event is FREE for GCSHP members, and $15 for non-members. If you are not a member and would like to attend, payments can be made via our Square site. Please note you must register via LecturePanda and Microsoft Teams in order to receive the event link and claim CE credit. All links can be found in our bio!

Join our chapter’s Fall Walk to support the TSHP PAC! 🏃🏃‍♀️ This exciting event is happening throughout the fall season across the state of Texas, offering a fantastic opportunity for pharmacy practitioners with their friends as well as family of all ages to promote health and wellness while supporting a great cause. The walk features donations to our state chapter’s political action committee, TSHP PAC, for entry. Proceeds from the walk will benefit optimized patient care, preservation of pharmacy as an independent profession, and the professional practice of health-system pharmacy via TSHP PAC.

GCSHP will meet at Buffalo Bayou Park for those interested in doing the walk together in-person. You may also participate virtually with friends or family if unable to join our group walk, and tag us in your photos!

Don’t miss out on this uplifting day filled with camaraderie, fitness, and fun in support of an important cause!

Each year, GCSHP recognizes outstanding work in pharmacy practice with the Outstanding Achievement Awards. Nominations are submitted by members, and then votes are casted to select the final winners. On Saturday, November 8th, we hosted the 2025 GCSHP Annual Seminar. More than 130 attendees and sponsors gathered at the Westin Houston Medical Center for a full day of educational programming and networking! With our raffle tickets, we were able to raise over $200 for the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists PAC and give away some cool prizes to our attendees. We are so grateful to our industry sponsors and exhibitors for their support in making this event possible, and to our Board of Directors + Annual Seminar Committee who worked tirelessly over the last several months to bring all the pieces together. We hope that everyone who came learned a few new gems and made meaningful professional connections. See you next year!
