Mom's Care Plan

Mom's Care Plan A FREE Elder Care Advisory Service that provides personalized assistance to families Where does one begin?

Choosing the right care environment that will provide a quality of life and yet keep your loved one safe and well cared for can be the most challenging experience of a lifetime. Often when adult children are seeking care for their parents the process can be totally overwhelming. This is not like dropping your child off at nursery school for the first time, nor having a teenager leave for college. There is no preparation for this most difficult life stage or the anxiety level associated with seeking a solution. As a free elder care advisory service, Mom’s Care Plan spends the time to understand the circumstances surrounding your family’s situation. We will develop a “Care Plan” based upon your loved one’s health, living situation and your primary concerns for their well being. Mom’s Care Plan is a FREE elder care service that educates you and provides senior living and care options that are best suited to your loved one. With the proper information at your fingertips, choosing the appropriate living and care environment becomes less stressful. Whether your search is for minimal assistance at home, independent living, complete care or somewhere in between, we at Mom’s Care Plan are here to guide you.

Tuesday, November 4th - Are you ready to paint! 🎨

It's that time of year where we incorporate music and painting and welcome Jimmy back to lead our group into their own unique and creative state of mind.

Painting is therapeutic and a non verbal form of communication. It engages the senses and allows us to share our feelings & memories using colors, shapes and textures. Overall it produces a calming, rhythmic effect similar to music. Yes!

Come and experience Kingwood Memory Cafe on Tuesday, Nov. 4th @ 5:30pm. The laughter, socialization, positive energy, really bad jokes and lots of great food will have you leaving with a smile. 😄

If you are caring for someone in early stages of memory loss and would like to attend, please use the RSVP details below and we will look forward to seeing you then!

Flowers are symbolic of a wide range of emotions including love, joy, happiness, appreciation & friendship. Join us on Tuesday, May 6th for our "MAY FLOWER" themed memory cafe where we hope to see those positive feelings blossom 🌼🌺🌻

Some people swear by special watering techniques, talking to their plants and even playing classical music. But at Kingwood Memory Cafe, we like to keep it simple ; We start by filling a room with Unforgettable FRIENDS, mix in enough FOOD to feed an army, tell some really, really, unbelievably bad JOKES 😜, play GARDENING Bingo, SING (even if our voices should never be heard outside of a shower)😂, DANCE (usually the squirrel dance - Lesley) and then keeping a close eye on making sure the room is soaked with LAUGHTER! 😍

We are going to need some help with our floral centerpieces and are looking forward to seeing your creative designs. No green thumb or water needed! 🙃

To RSVP follow the details below. We welcome everyone in early stages of memory loss along with their care partner, family & friends. We especially love having your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of all ages join us.
