Today’s practice was with the sangha led by our teacher online. It’s a little over an hour practice starting with qi activation leading to a combo of Ba Duan Jin qigong, mobility movements, and self-acupressure massage. Once or twice a week, we have practice and training. Sometimes it’s more tai chi and other times more qigong. Since we are now in the autumn season, it’s time to get warm, which was the focus in today’s practice.
I love sharing and teaching this practice of moving meditation with my patients at the clinic. I have my certifications to teach, but I will always remain a student and grateful to being trained by experienced teachers who have deep wisdom. Teachers/coaches need training too to challenge our mental and physical limitations. It’s a must! Because unless we’ve done our own work, then we cannot guide anyone to go deeper into the practice.
