Meet Anisa 🌹

She is graduating with a B.S. in Psychology and B.S. in Retailing & Consumer Science 🛍️👩🏻‍🎓

Her favorite CIR memory is “Check-ins. Every semester, they gave me a safe place to be heard, to hear others, and to stay grounded in a solution-based community. CIR became my home base at UH, with peers who understand the recovery journey while also navigating and excelling in academics. I’m graduating with honors in both colleges, and sobriety is a huge reason I get to celebrate this moment.” 💕

Her plans after graduation “Starting my M.S. in Global Retailing at UH. Go Coogs! I’ll also be heading back to the NRF Student Program in New York for the third year, thanks to the College of Engineering, and planning to study abroad in Japan with UH in 2027 before completing my master’s. I’m excited to continue building my education, career, and future through the foundation sobriety has given me here at UH.” 🌎🐾

We get to celebrate her and many other grads next Monday at our Annual Graduation Celebration 🎉 🎊

Chloe is graduating with her Masters in Social Work this spring 👩🏻‍🎓🎓

“I plan to continue working at my favorite place in the world, CIR, and to stat accumulating my clinical hours to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I hope to become certified in expressive arts therapy and somatic therapy in the future” 🎨🦋

“I have loved being a practicum student-turned-staff member at such a special place. I really had no idea how much I would fall in love with the work we do here. I really do feel grateful to be apart of this. My favorite memory is the day Raquell came back from maternity leave” 😉

After graduating in December, “I plan to move to Nashville TN and do my masters at Vanderbilt and completing my CFAs, continue working at statefarm until accepted by Merrill Lynch or Morgan Stanley.” 💼

“My fave memory is the house on the river trip with CIR and getting to know everyone and enjoying the random convos with the amazing people of CIR!” 🏞️🦦
