What an incredible day at the Periwinkle Day Camp! We had the joy of volunteering and serving lunch to some truly amazing kids, and their smiles made it all so worthwhile. Sharing a meal, laughter, and a little kindness reminded us just how powerful community can be. We're so grateful for the chance to be a small part of such a meaningful camp experience. To celebrate the amazing dads in our community, we spent time this week building birdhouses together — it was a wonderful mix of creativity, conversation, and a few nostalgic memories. With each nail and brush of paint, we saw smiles, laughter, and the joy of creating something meaningful by hand.

The birdhouses turned out beautifully, but the real highlight was the times shared, stories told, skills passed down, and bonds strengthened.

Here’s to the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who continue to inspire us every day. You are loved and appreciated more than words can say.

Congratulations to our residents who competed in our new Resident Game Day! We were so excited to see such a great turnout for this event, and to have some fun, friendly competition. We could hardly stand the double overtime battle that went for 2nd place! Congrats again to all our winners, and we hope to see them there for our next competition!

Our first Dinner & Laughs event on April 24th featured the fantastic magician Robert Berry, and it was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who joined us—because of your support, we raised a significant amount of money for the Alzheimer's Association!

We had a sweet surprise this week — our wonderful exercise instructor Yolanda traded in her sneakers for an apron and hosted a lovely Easter event! From laughter to lemon bars, it was a beautiful way to come together and prepare our hearts (and taste buds) for Easter Sunday. We are wishing everyone a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Easter filled with love, hope, and sweet moments.
