Founded in 1991, The Carruth Center is a private, multidisciplinary clinic offering an array of assessment and therapeutic services. The Carruth Center therapists are a group of highly trained professionals in the areas of neuropsychology, psychology, speech language pathology, occupational therapy and licensed professional counselors. Our staff specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children in the areas of learning, emotional, behavioral, attention, neurological, communication and /or developmental concerns. I encourage you to find out more about each member of Staff and their specialties. Also, check out our Services for all of the programming offered at The Carruth Center. The clinic offers comprehensive developmental assessments, individual speech and language and occupational therapy, as well as individual and group psychological services. The clinic’s unique programs also include our Language Development Class (LDC) for children with emergent language skills, and social-emotional therapy groups, which focus on appropriate, play skills, peer interaction and problem solving skills. Summer Camp 101: Everything you need to know, next week! ⛺️

What is ? 🧠

The Carruth Center will launch a new program this summer targeting executive functioning skills in children and teens ages 8 and up! Brain Boss helps individuals develop an inner monologue of all the factors that effect planning and time, which in turn, helps with self-regulation and self-esteem.

Registration begins Tuesday, January 20, 2026, and spots are limited. Attend Camp 101 on Thursday, January 15, 2026, to learn more!

Join our LDC program! 🤗

The Carruth Center’s Language Development Class (LDC) is our unique therapeutic program for preschool-aged children with language delays. Our lead teacher is a speech-language pathologist and are ratio of students to staff is 2:1. In LDC children’s language skills, independence and ability to follow the group plan is targeted throughout the 2 ½ hour day.

We have 2-day and 4-day per week spots available for our Spring Session (January-May). If you feel your child could benefit from our program, we’d love to hear from you! Head to the link in our bio to learn more about LDC.
