It was so nice to finally meet Tina Lucas, Client Success Manager with BetterRX, in person and put a face to the name!

Tina and the BetterRX team have been incredible partners, supporting us with cost control strategies, customization, and ongoing training to help our team succeed. We truly value the partnership and appreciate the thoughtful visit (and the fun summer sunglasses and treats!).

✨ Employee Spotlight: Shelly Moreno
Hospice Consultant | Valor Hospice Houston ✨

Meet Shelly Moreno, our Hospice Consultant with the Valor Hospice Houston branch and the longest-standing consultant in this office! With 18 years in healthcare and 3 years in hospice, Shelly brings experience, compassion, and a heart for serving others into everything she does.

Shelly’s favorite part of her job is building meaningful relationships with her facilities and the families she supports. She loves helping those who may feel scared or uncertain about hospice understand that hospice is about so much more than end-of-life care. At Valor Hospice, we are here for our patients and their families, treating each person with the love and dignity they deserve.

Outside of work, Shelly loves riding her Harley and being part of a motorcycle club that gives back through charity work in the community. She is also involved with a Houston rescue group that helps rescue all animals, including domestic animals and wildlife.

Fun fact about Shelly: she is, and always will be, a Green Bay Packers fan… Go Pack Go! 💚💛
(And yes, that was a little painful for some of us to write 😂)

Most importantly, Shelly is a proud mom of 5 beautiful boys and a loving Nana to her 4-year-old grandbaby, who she says is her whole heart.

Shelly shared that being part of Valor Hospice has truly shown her what it means to be part of a work family, and she absolutely loves what she does.

We are so grateful to have Shelly as part of the Valor family, serving our Houston community every step of the way. 💛🖤
