We recently gathered at The Women’s Home Mabee WholeLife® Service Center for a wonderful Community Thanksgiving Lunch celebrating gratitude, partnership, and community.

We are grateful to our sponsors who made this event possible: SLB for their generous Thanksgiving contribution and SLB volunteers for serving the meal and decorating Garden Place for the holidays. HEB and Fort Bend Church for donating the food. Thank you to VASI Party Rentals for beautifully decorating the space and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A special shoutout to April Duerson from Peachez Eatery for organizing this event with such heart and dedication — we couldn’t have done it without you.

On October 24, our Workforce Development team hosted a Microsoft Beginners Class at the WholeLife® Service Center.

After learning about the mission and impact of The Women’s Home, instructor Patrick Enyinnaya was so inspired that he chose to volunteer his time to continue teaching Microsoft classes at no cost.

Thanks to Patrick’s generosity, we are thrilled to now offer monthly computer skills sessions to help our clients gain valuable tools for employment and independence!
