After Dallas was struck by a car, the resulting traumatic brain injury left him unable to speak, move or eat independently. His family was told he would be in a vegetative state. But they did not give up. That's when they found TIRR Memorial Hermann, where he underwent a combination of speech, physical and occupational therapy.
Now, Dallas is celebrating his recent graduation from college with a degree in sociology and looking forward to the next stage of his life.
“TIRR Memorial Hermann gave Dallas his life back,” says his mom, Tracy. “I don’t know if we would have had this outcome anyplace else."
