Our St Joseph location will be up & running, starting clinic at 12PM. Greets patients and visitors upon arrival
Assists patients with check in/check out.
Collects copay and any patient responsibility
Ensures all necessary patient forms are completed for the visit and scanned into electronic health record.
Scan in necessary documents such as ID/DL, insurance card.
Answers telephone within three (3) rings and directs calls
Documents complete messages in telephone encounter and routes to appropriate person
Check voicemails daily
Communicates with patient, staff, and providers regarding arrivals, delays, and practice processes.
Alerts practice staff and provider of any changes or discrepancies in patient’s scheduled appointments.
Proactively approaches dissatisfied customers
Review billing information
Verify insurance benefits for in office visits, procedures, surgery as well as OB Global benefits in a timely manner
Goes over OB Global Contract with patient and sets up monthly payments
Familiar with insurance limitations
Coordinate incoming referrals
Schedule appointments
Check and inform patients of insurance network status
