✨🐟 The Feast of the Seven Fishes 🐟✨

Christmas Eve isn’t just dinner.
It’s family, stories, memories, and seven seafood dishes served with love.

From baccalà and linguine with clams…
to fried shrimp, eel, calamari, and a table overflowing with wine, laughter, and Nonna yelling, “Mangia!” 🍷🍝

Why is it called the Feast of the Seven Fishes? Some say seven sacraments… others say seven days of creation.
But the meaning is always the same. Abundance, gratitude, and togetherness.

It’s about waiting for Christmas, sharing the flavors of the sea, and saving room for panettone, struffoli, and espresso after midnight. 🎄☕️

🍌 Banana Bread

Mash 2 bananas → mix with ½ cup sugar, 1 egg, ¼ cup oil → fold in 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking soda, pinch salt → bake 350°F / 180°C, 45–50 mins.

🥕 Carrot Bread

Mix 1 cup grated carrot, ½ cup sugar, 1 egg, ¼ cup oil → add 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, cinnamon pinch → bake 350°F / 180°C, 40–45 mins.

🎃 Pumpkin Bread

Mix 1 cup pumpkin purée, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 egg, ¼ cup oil → add 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking soda, pumpkin spice → bake 350°F / 180°C, 50 mins.

🌽 Cornbread

Stir 1 cup milk, ¼ cup oil, 1 egg, 1 tbsp sugar → add 1 cup cornmeal, 1 cup flour, 1 tbsp baking powder → bake 400°F / 200°C, 20–22 mins.
