Hi everyone. Im officially back to work with some limitations. Ive been working lightly and not pushing myself which has enabled me to gain a lot of strength back. Today was my first full day with clients and i feel really good. Im hoping my clients feel the same 🙂 Im currently only working Tuesday and Thursday and will add more availability as I continue to improve. Im so grateful for the support you have all given me during this past year. It has been a very difficult one to say the least. I can't express enough how much I appreciate all of you. Thank you so much ❤️

Hi everyone. Just want to say thanks for all the kind words offered during such a difficult time. They meant the world to me. Im currently waiting (impatiently) to see my surgeon on 6/30. Im hoping he'll give me the go ahead to start massaging soon, until that happens, I will be offering facials and facial cupping starting July 8th. I did a facial cupping class 2 wks ago. Thankful Alyssa agreed to be my guinea pig today. 1st Pic is before 2nd after. Although I still have at least 4 wks of pt left and the doc hasn't released me to work yet, I did try my hand at massage. It went OK. Definately not ready but I am getting anxious.

Hi everyone. Shoulder update. 6 weeks post surgery. No more sling unless I feel the need. Morgan my pt person and Doc. W say I'm doing well. I'm very excited there is an end to this craziness in site. I've still got at least 6 mores weeks of pt. We'll see what happens at that point. Thanks for all the support 🥰

Hi everyone. It's been awhile so I thought I would give an update to my recovery. I had my shoulder surgery on Wednesday April 9th. A broken bone fragment was removed plus the repair of the broken glenoid cavity ( where the head of the humerus sits) the labrum tear was repaired as well as the bicep tendon. The shoulder surgery went beautifully and looks beautiful. Unfortunately there was a glitch with my nerve block. The anesthesiologist punctured my lung while performing the nerve block and collapsed my lung which was caught after the surgery was complete. I wound up with a chest tube and 2 1/2 extra days in the hospital. Needless to say I wasn't very happy. I'm doing fine, just frustrated. Tomorrow is 4 wks out from surgery and because of a previously scheduled vacation my pt was pushed out a week. I start Thursday. I've been told numerous times that it's a long healing process 😬. I'm trying to follow doctors orders and hoping I'll respond well to PT. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with warm wishes and prayers. I'm so lucky to have you all in my life. I hope you all are doing well and getting your massage time, I am jealous lol. It's been forever and I could use one about now 🙂

Good morning everyone. Update on my shoulder injury. I will be having surgery on April 8th. Turns out the socket where the head of the humerus sits broke. Part of the bone chipped off as well and needs to be removed. The labrum tear will be fixed as well. I will be in a sling for six weeks, the first 3, 24-7 😩 the next 3 during the day. I begin pt at that point. I was told by my orthopedic it's roughly a 4 month recovery. To all my clients I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. Good morning. It's been a week since my mishap and wanted to give an update. I was hoping to start PT today but due to a "questionable" area I'm scheduled for a CT scan today. I see the orthopedic on Thursday and am hoping for a plan for a quick recovery. I'll keep you all posted. Sorry to all for the inconvenience. Have a great day 🙂

Good morning friends. Unfortunately, I dislocated my shoulder last night. I will be taking a mandatory hiatus from work as I'm guessing it'll be really hard to do my job one handed lol. I'll be contacting clients within the next few days. So sorry for the inconvenience.

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to give an update on some changes that will be taking place at The Healing Path . As of March 1st 2025 I will no longer be working Saturdays. My hours will be as follows. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 10:00 - 5:00. Also, I'm only accepting new clientele between 10 & 1 as my later afternoon appointments are scheduled out for my monthly regulars. If you need to contact me, please text or call 607-368-3567.
