Half-lap trellis in beautiful downtown Chelsea, MI. This newly built house is absolutely gorgeous. Honored to have been asked to put a small finishing touch on it for a bit of added privacy for the homeowners. Sprayed with ceramic paint to match deck and trim.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that I am close to catching up on past orders that were stalled due to our pivoting to manufacturing PPE for a few months. I should be completely caught up with past orders (and promised past give-aways) within the next few weeks.

After that time, I have decided to adjust our way of doing business. In the future, we will no longer function as a normal E-Commerce site, offering a catalog of items for purchase. Instead, we will be designing and creating one-off pieces that will go up for sale when completed. I've always been more interested in initial design and build than popping out product in numbers.

There will be a few exceptions for popular products such as the Michigan shaped chopping blocks and stepping stones that I can build up inventory for. Also, for limited custom requests.

This has been a side gig on top of a full-time career since its inception. It has become too much to handle, and my time is becoming more and more valuable.

I appreciate all the support and patience throughout the years.

Had to pump out some custom shields for a surgeon that wears magnifying glasses. Widened the frame so the shield is further from the face. My days off consist of more work than when I’m on.

My cousin's son is 3D printing ear protectors. I had him customize these for our lab staff at NSF International. "NSF Strong"!!!!

They go on the back of your head and allow you to strap the elastic bands of your face mask to them, reducing the irritation on the back of your ears.

He's a brilliant kid doing a good thing for our front-liners. If you would like to support him, or would like to get a few made for your fellow co-workers, here is the link:

Slowly starting to catch up on past orders/requests. Thanks for your patience as we pivot back from creating PPE for our front-line heroes.

Had to deal with some uneven oak after procrastinating on this piece. Glued it up a month ago. Lesson learned. Ended up having to hand paint the white with tiny paint brushes. Black is tinted epoxy in the carvings.
