We’ve successfully treated our first patient using a new, minimally invasive procedure for patients with high blood pressure that isn’t well controlled by medication or lifestyle changes.

Performed by Dr. Abiy Nigatu on July 31, this breakthrough treatment targets overactive nerves near the kidneys to help lower blood pressure.

Big news for mental health care in our community!

Trinity Health Livingston and Chelsea Hospital have been awarded a $350,000 grant from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund to expand behavioral health services in their Emergency Departments and inpatient units. With nearly 1 in 3 Michiganders experiencing anxiety or depression, this investment is a powerful step toward ensuring timely, compassionate care for those who need it most.

Access to care begins with access to transportation, and in Livingston County, we’re working to make that possible.

CBS Detroit recently sat down with Amanda Borg, Community Health and Well-Being Supervisor at Trinity Health Livingston, to discuss an exciting new partnership with L.E.T.S. Transportation.

After identifying transportation as a top priority in our latest Community Health Needs Assessment, Trinity Health contributed nearly $50,000 through our Investing in Our Communities grant program to support a new LETS initiative, which provides rides for unhoused individuals to health care and other essential services.
