$20 sports physicals are back at Mauck Medical Clinic!

A reminder that everyone doing Jr. high or high school sports require a sports physical for the upcoming year, as well as those playing Cougar football. There's no better time to schedule and get those physicals done than right now!

It's that time of year again - allergy season!

The flowers and warm weather are a relief to see each year, but they mark the beginning of allergy season, when everyone starts experiencing runny noses, scratchy throats, and irritated eyes. These can all get in the way of your work, sleep, and fun. If you're wondering what you can do, we have the fix for you!

With spring here and busy season picking up, it’s a good time to think about tetanus (Tdap) vaccines—especially for those working around dirt, equipment, and livestock.

The Tdap vaccine helps protect against:
• Tetanus (bacteria from cuts or wounds that can cause severe muscle stiffness/lockjaw)
• Diphtheria
• Pertussis (whooping cough)

Most adults should get a tetanus booster every 10 years, or sooner if you’ve had a high-risk injury and it’s been a while since your last shot.

We offer vaccines in clinic and can bill through insurance, and we also participate in a program that provides free vaccines for adults who are uninsured or don’t have vaccine coverage.

If you can’t remember your last tetanus shot, now’s a good time to check it off the list before things get busy.

We've been seeing a noticeable increase in RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) cases lately, so we wanted to share some helpful information—especially for families with young children.

Today, on World Cancer Day, we pause to recognize the millions of individuals and families who have been impacted by cancer. At Mauck Medical Clinic, this day is especially personal.

Recently, my own sister lost her battle with cancer. Walking through that journey alongside her and our family has been a powerful reminder that cancer is not just a diagnosis—it’s a deeply human experience that affects every part of life. It brings fear, hope, grief, courage, and love all at once.
