Today, on World Cancer Day, we pause to recognize the millions of individuals and families who have been impacted by cancer. At Mauck Medical Clinic, this day is especially personal.
Recently, my own sister lost her battle with cancer. Walking through that journey alongside her and our family has been a powerful reminder that cancer is not just a diagnosis—it’s a deeply human experience that affects every part of life. It brings fear, hope, grief, courage, and love all at once.
Because of that, our commitment to caring for you goes beyond treating illness. We believe in early detection, prevention, and walking with you through every step, whether that’s routine screening, navigating a new diagnosis, or simply answering questions when you’re worried.
We strongly encourage you to stay up to date on recommended cancer screenings, including:
• Mammograms
• Colonoscopies
• Pap smears
• Prostate screenings
• Skin checks
Early detection truly saves lives.
If you are due for a screening, have a family history of cancer, or have noticed new or concerning symptoms, please reach out to us. We are here to help guide you, support you, and care for you.
Today we remember those we’ve lost, honor those still fighting, and recommit ourselves to compassionate, whole-person care.
📞 Call our office to schedule an appointment or to ask about screenings.
You are not alone—we’re in this together.
