Hello Everyone 🥰 I FINALLY got around to creating my official business page!
So for those who aren't close with me, here is a long post about myself and detailing my practice and experience.
I am Annie, I've been doing massage since 2016. What led me into this field was my own journey for relief of chronic pain. I had been to all kinds of doctors, massage therapists etc. and still with not much relief.
I had a friend ask me if I had ever tried having Reiki(a Japanese modality of energy healing Rei=Universal, Ki=Energy), I hadn't and I was willing to try anything so I gave that a go; and I found that it helped me mentally and spiritually, that I was then able to start physically healing. And I was like wow, I want to learn this to share with others. So I then did training and received all my Reiki attunements.
Now, there is a large population of people who charge money for energy work. That has never sat right with me personally. When energy healing is taking place it is nothing in my power that I am doing, I am merely the vessel and instrument God is using to bring healing to others. Which I believe the Lord calls us to compassion and surrender to the Holy Spirit.
So, that led me to the thought; How can I share this with people and still support myself? 💡💡💡Ah-HA! I then chose to go-to school and get medically licensed in massage so I could then just share this gift with people🥰🙏
So during my time in massage school I also gained the title of Reiki Master- *side note* (Where I am now in my soul journey and growth I don't even use that title, I don't want it to deceive or distract people, because God is calling me to be humble. I/we are masters of nothing, we just bear witness to the creators miracles that make up this life. So I prefer to say I do prayer/laying of hands/healing touch)
Moving on, after getting licensed I was blessed to get my job at GravitySpa in Beavercreek ohio, which is a wonderful, beautiful place that I've spent many years and connected with so many beautiful souls that have become a part of my soul family. It was there that I was introduced to the benefits of flotation deprivation tanks, and afforded the opportunity to take the training classes through House of Om(Anthony Conrad) to become certified as a Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner. This type of massage is done on a floor mat, where the client is in stretchy comfy clothes, and I have them lay passive as I put their bodies into different stretches, and palm/thumb along the acupressure energy lines of the body.
I am technically still a contractor for GravitySpa, but I am hardly ever there because life and having two babies, my time doesn't work great with a traditional work schedule. So I have a Massage table and a Thai mat, and I will travel to you to fulfill your healing needs(I bring the spa music and the whole shabang), unless of course we know each other well enough that I can have you come to me. Also for safety I don't travel to people who are not referred by someone that I know.(you can't be too careful, and I will also note that I will not tolerate any creepy nonsense, I am not desperate for work that I will put up with any of that, I take my profession very seriously, and as one of the best in my field I choose to work with clients of good character and moral integrity.)

Medical Massage- DeepTissue/Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish/Relaxation Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Sports Massage, (Hot Stone(capable not currently offering), TMJ Massage, Plantar fasciitis massage, Thai Yoga Massage, and Prenatal Massage/Birth Doula.
5 years ago is when I began my journey as a birth doula. I was asked by one of my best friends to doula for her home water birth where she had twin babies!💕 This experience was so beautiful and profound I knew it was going to become another calling for me. Learning this one, I have used skills I already had from massage and energy/prayer healing, and my own research on birth doula-ing and practical first hand experience. I have attended 6 soon to be 7 births for others so far.🥰 And I have had both of my babies naturally via water birth, which gave me such a deep compassion and loving understanding of how to work with mommies bringing their precious babes into this world. 🙏❤️🔥🥰🤱🫄🧑🍼👶
I absolutely love what I do, and have a strong compassion for others, especially those who suffer day to day with chronic pain. I know what that's like and it fills me with joy to be able to use my gifts to help improve quality of life. And this isn't always just physical pain, this could be spiritual and emotional, to which I am honored to be present with you and pour love into you to uplift and refresh your spirit. 🙏💕
