Join William Kelley and me as we embark on another collaboration! It's really an adventure as we travel with William along the Vermont woods in a 13-minute walking meditation. Then, stretch and release the legs in an 11-minute Gentle Yoga practice with me.

Connections Yoga: Yin, Warm Yin, and Slow Flow Yoga with Lisa
Join 200 hr Certified Yoga Teacher, Lisa Wixted, at Namaste Yoga for Grounding with Yin Yoga, Slow Flow Yoga, and Warm Yin Yoga. Each of these classes are suitable for adults, preteens, and teenagers of all levels of experience.
Slow Flow uses conscious breathing as you move in and out poses at a slow pace to connect to your breath with smooth transitions, creating your own yoga dance. Briefly holding poses helps ensures comfortable alignment, allowing you to feel the pose in your body while building flexibility, strength, and balance. This gentle/moderate class is suitable for all levels of students.
Grounding with Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues of ligaments, tendons, and joints in the spine, pelvis, and knees. Seated and reclined postures are held with the support of props for 3 minutes to relax muscles, elongate connective tissues, and release tension while increasing flexibility, blood circulation, and range of motion. This calm, gentle class offers mindfulness and reflection to reduce stress in the body and mind.
Keeping the body cooler in Yin applies a more effective and healthy stress to the connective tissues. Yet, the warmer environment of 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit in Warm Yin may help you settle deeper into poses while still receiving benefits of a Yin practice.
