The Inch, Pinch, Armpit Tests are a quick way to see if you need help with your car seat.

If any of these 3 are a problem, give our Certified Car Seat Technicians a call at 518-746-2400.

These are just a starting point! If any of these are not quite right, you know you need to look into it. Read your vehicle and car seat owner's manuals and call a car seat technician for help.

Other tips:
Do not use the LATCH and the seatbelt.

For Forward Facing, always use the Tether.

Check your car seat height and weight limits.

Do not turn your child forward facing too soon! Rear face until the maximum height or weight limit is reached.

Keep your child Forward Facing in a harness until they reach the maximum height or weight limit before moving them to a booster seat.

If your child is under 4'9", boost them every time.

Today we pause with intention to show support for those who are still here, who have survived, and who may be hiding in plain sight needing our compassion.

March 1st is Self-Injury Awareness Day, a time to increase understanding and reduce stigma around a deeply misunderstood struggle.

Self-injury is often a sign of emotional distress, not attention-seeking. It can involve harming oneself as a way to cope with overwhelming emotions or numbness. Many who struggle carry their pain quietly. Signs may include unexplained injuries, withdrawal, difficulty managing emotions, or low self-esteem.

If you are struggling, please know this: you are not alone. Support is available. Help is possible. Reaching out is a courageous first step.

Check in. Listen without judgment. Create space for honest conversation.

Because there is hope. 💚

If you or someone you know needs support, call or text 988. You are not alone.

Lead poisoning is a serious condition that can affect anyone who is exposed to high levels of lead.

While many people think lead poisoning is a thing of the past, the condition is still very much an issue in certain areas in the U.S. and across the world.

Lead poisoning happens when your child is affected by high levels of lead exposure. Lead poisoning is usually caused by eating or drinking (ingesting) lead, but touching or breathing in the toxic metal can also cause it.

Lead poisoning is when any detectable amount of lead is found in your child’s blood.
