🌟 Introducing Our New Therapy Book Group: "The Body Is Not an Apology" 🌟

Are you ready to embark on a journey toward radical self-love and body acceptance? We're excited to announce our upcoming virtual book group, centered around Sonya Renee Taylor's transformative book, "The Body Is Not an Apology."

This group is designed for individuals aged 18 and older residing in Oregon, Washington, or Wisconsin who struggle with body image or self-esteem related to their appearance. Together, we'll explore themes of self-worth and body liberation within the larger social contexts of our lives.

Group Details:

Duration: April 25 – June 6

Meetings: Fridays, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM (PST) / 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (CST)

Platform: Google Meet

Cost: $10 per session

What to Expect:

Cultivate Self-Compassion: Learn to treat yourself with kindness and understanding, fostering a nurturing relationship with your body.

Challenge Body Shame: Identify and confront internalized negative beliefs about your appearance, paving the way for self-acceptance.

Celebrate Your Uniqueness: Shift your focus from self-criticism to recognizing and celebrating your individual beauty and strengths.

Build Resilience: Develop strategies to withstand societal pressures and unrealistic beauty ideals, empowering you to live authentically.

Through structured discussions, reflection exercises, and supportive group connections, you'll gain tools to embrace yourself more fully and challenge societal beauty standards.
