From "Mommy Wrist" to a Clean & Jerk PR. 🏋️♀️💥
We talk a lot about the physical demands of motherhood, but we don't talk enough about how those repetitive movements can sideline us in the gym. I was struggling with overhead stability due to some nagging wrist pain (classic De Quervain's/Mommy Wrist), so I got to work using the same tools I use with my patients.
The Treatment Protocol:
IASTM: Breaking up restrictions in the fascia.
Cupping: Improving blood flow and decompression.
Dry Needling: Releasing those deep trigger points and resetting the nervous system.
The result? The pain cleared, the overhead position felt rock solid, and I walked away with a new PR. Proof that you don’t have to "just live" with postpartum aches—you just need the right recovery.
