Spring sports are in full swing, and while staying active is great for kids, injuries can happen. Here’s how to help them play safely:
🥤 Hydration is key – Dehydration can lead to muscle cramps, dizziness, and fatigue. Remind kids to drink plenty of water before, during, and after practice.
🧠 Concussion awareness – If your child takes a hard hit or fall, watch for signs like dizziness, headaches, or confusion. When in doubt, sit them out!
💪 Proper warm-ups matter – Encourage dynamic stretching (like leg swings and arm circles) before activity to prevent strains and sprains.
