“Who is holding you up in your life?”

A question I hear every time I turn on my favorite forward fold practice from my teacher. Lately I’ve been in awe of all of the people surrounding me that hold me up. This photoshoot day was just one of the many instances of people I love showing up for me. My dear friends Trisha and Austeen who I love with all of my heart came to be my models. My mom stepped in to be my videographer/photographer when my tripod idea fell a bit short. My dad who chauffeured us around and helped set everything up and then sat in the corner while we worked. (He was born to be a girl dad fr)

I have no lack of inspiring people in my life who support me and uplift me, I am so grateful for my community! 💕💕

Once you shift your mindset and view bodywork as an investment rather than an expense, you start to value the work on a deeper level. You step into the room with a sense of pride and accomplishment that you are devoting this time to yourself!

Movement is medicine.

Moving your body shouldn’t be a punishment. You are worthy of treating your body to nourishing movement that brings you into a deeper connection with yourself.

Thai massage is a wonderful starting point if you want to learn how restorative movement can be, and how gentle and intentional work can have the most impact.
