Blue light at night tells your brain it’s daytime — spiking cortisol and destroying melatonin, your body’s master anti-cancer and sleep hormone.
That’s why nighttime scrolling triggers stress and sugar cravings. 🍭

We Are a Light-Poisoned Culture — Here’s How to Heal

We used to live by firelight.
Now we fall asleep under phone light.
Too much blue light at night is wrecking our rhythm. It tricks your body into thinking it’s noon, raises cortisol, and blocks melatonin—the master antioxidant that drives beauty, repair, and longevity.
We’ve become a light-poisoned culture, and the cost is our sleep, our energy, and our joy.

Here’s how to heal:
• See the sunrise each morning to reset your circadian clock
• Take sunlight breaks through the day
• Protect your nights with warm light and blue light blocking glasses

Your biology still belongs to the sun and the fire. When you honor that rhythm, you glow from within.

DreamWalkerz creates luxury blue light blocking glasses made for women—curated by an artist, biohacker, and creative devoted to restoring rhythm, beauty, and balance.

Sunset is an important time to block this light if you want better sleep

10/06/2025

It’s 8 PM and your body thinks it’s noon 😳

Blue light at night confuses your biology. When you’re exposed to bright or artificial light after 7–8 PM, your body thinks it’s noon. That circadian mismatch steals your precious melatonin — the body’s master antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-cancer hormone.
✨ Simple nightly reset
• Get up with the sunrise to set your clock
• Take sunshine breaks through the day
• Block blue light at night with DreamWalkerz glasses

Protect your light, protect your melatonin. Visit dreamwalkerz.ai for the prettiest blue light blocking glasses for women and to learn more!

This color light at night harms your sleep.
You may not think your lights are blue, but deep down, every LED we use in modern day has a huge spike of blue light messing with your sleep.

“Want to lose weight? Try more sleep.”

According to TS Wiley, getting 9 hours of sleep a night can help you lose weight without making any other changes.
A 2017 study showed this clearly: two groups of mice ate the same food and moved the same amount.

The only difference?
One group had 12 hours of light and dark.
The other was under 24 hours of bright white light.
The result? The 24-hour light group became obese. Lack of restorative sleep made all the difference.
✨ Your takeaway: sleep is not optional.

If you aren’t getting 8–9 hours, your body is missing the deep repair that regulates weight, hormones, and energy.
So, how much sleep did you get last night? 🌙

Quick truth bomb: if you think you’re a night owl, chances are it’s just a pattern your body learned—and it could be costing your health.

I used to be a night owl too. You can bounce back in your 20s, but by your 30s, 40s, and 50s the bill comes due. Research links chronic late nights with higher risk for obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.

What to do: start getting up with the sun. Morning light is the simplest reset for your circadian rhythm.

It’s free, fast, and reconnects you to the earth.
That first light cues melatonin to rise 14–16 hours later so you can fall asleep with ease.
I break it down in today’s short video + show you exactly how to start tomorrow morning:

This is your week to shift the habits, protect your melatonin, and feel amazing heading into fall.
