Being generous can be internal such as a relaxed body, open attention, even a willingness to stay. There is very little exchanged, and still it is very generous. We often think of generosity as a means of gifting or giving something away. But you can be generous without giving. Sometimes generosity is presence and that’s enough.

As I breathe in deeply, I can visualize a golden glow around my body. As I breathe in more deeply, I visualize the golden glow entering my body. As I breathe in more deeply, I can sense this golden healing light revitalizing every cell and releasing anything that is not in harmony with optimal health. I rest in this awareness—breathing healing light and just being.

Packing a big punch! I don’t need silence. I just need a willingness to be present with myself. I closed my eyes and Center on my breath. I noticed how my body feels and where my mind is wandering too. And using my breath, I dissipate thoughts, and with my breath, I soften my body. In no time at all, my eyes are open and I have reset. I am balanced, centered, and calm.

I learned I don’t have to sit tall and proud like a mountain. I want my body to be comfortable – because discomfort pulls attention away from my practice. When my body is supported, the mind does not have to negotiate. Presence become simpler and kinder. . .
Meditation does not ask for discipline first. It asks for listening.
