I had to pause when I read: “Desire means lack.” That didn’t sit right with me. . . .
To me, desire is the spark — the beginning of abundance, not a sign of something missing. . . . . .

Opportunities don’t come just once and disappear forever. Life isn’t a one-boat kind of harbor. They’re always more ships coming in. More opportunities. Maybe the one didn’t work out. Maybe it wasn’t yours to board. Maybe you weren’t ready yet. That doesn’t mean you missed anything. You might’ve missed that one, but your ship didn’t sink. Your chance didn’t disappear because what was meant for you is still making its way to your shore.

We’re stepping into the fourth month of this powerful, energetic year. So, I took a moment to look back at what I set out to harness for myself at the beginning of the year—and I can honestly say, I’m in it. I’m doing the work. I’m showing up. I’m becoming more aligned, one small step at a time.

Not perfectly. But intentionally.

Motherhood has been the greatest love of my life… and also one of my greatest teachers.

There was a time when I was raising three daughters on my own—navigating life with limited time, money, and emotional energy. I wanted so deeply to be everything for them, and some days felt like I fell short.

But mindfulness has gently reshaped my story.

It has allowed me to release the weight of what I thought I “should have been,” and instead, meet myself with compassion… and meet my daughters exactly where they are, with deeper presence and understanding.

And now, I get to experience love in a new, beautiful way—with my grandchildren.

Six little souls who remind me that it’s never too late to show up fully, to give freely, and to love without holding back.

This chapter feels softer. Fuller. More intentional.

And I am so grateful to be here for it 🤍
