This holiday season, our community came together in an extraordinary way through the Adopt-a-Family Program. With your generosity, over 90 families and more than 240 children experienced the joy, relief, and magic of the holidays.

The kindness we witnessed — from rooms filled with gifts to tears of gratitude — was truly overwhelming. We are endlessly thankful for everyone who made this possible.

Thanks to the generous support of the community - we're able to support over 230 youth in this year's program!

Even with every family accounted for, the need continues beyond the gift lists.

Our Warming Center is welcoming individuals who arrive with little more than the clothes they’re wearing — warm socks, gloves, hats, blankets, and personal care items make a world of difference. Many families are transitioning from temporary shelter into a new apartment and are in need of everyday essentials. And for the children we serve, arts & crafts supplies, toys, and creative activities offer comfort, expression, and joy during what can otherwise be a challenging season.

🌈 Transgender Awareness Week (Nov. 13–19, 2025)
Transgender Awareness Week centers education, advocacy, and solidarity with trans and gender-diverse people. Social workers help create safety and inclusion by affirming identity, supporting informed consent in care, and challenging systems that endanger trans lives.
Affirming practice is ethical practice. Trans liberation and social justice are interconnected — and advancing equity, safety, and belonging is core to our profession.
