Your Winter Wellness Prescription 🌟
We want to share some essential tips to help you thrive this winter and remember…get adjusted 😊:
1️⃣ Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate 💧
Even in colder months, staying hydrated is crucial for energy, focus, and overall health. Aim for at around 1/4- 1/2 your body weight in water daily.
2️⃣ Prioritize Quality Sleep 💤
Sleep is the foundation of good health. Strive for 7-9 hours of uninterrupted, restorative sleep each night to support your immune system and mental clarity.
3️⃣ Get Sunlight or Use a Happy Light ☀️
Natural sunlight in your eyes helps regulate your mood and sleep-wake cycles. Can’t get outside? A happy light can provide a boost to combat winter blues.
4️⃣ Eat Quality Protein 🍳
Incorporate lean proteins like chicken, fish, eggs, beans, or tofu into your meals to fuel your muscles, brain, and overall recovery. Most people are getting far too LITTLE protein day to day!
5️⃣ Move Daily 🏃♀️
Your body thrives on movement. Whether it’s a brisk walk, yoga, or strength training, aim for at least 30 minutes a day to keep your body strong and your mind clear.
