National Pickle Day is here! Fried pickles and cream cheese pickle roll ups proved to be a crowd-pleaser among the residents. For an added twist, try pairing them with ranch or seasoned cream cheese. Yum!

Yesterday, local author, Jim Guhl, presented on writing memoirs. His mother, Mary, is a resident at Woodland Hill and she has a published memoir and a children’s book titled “Springs”.

We are blessed to have such amazing residents and families who share their talents and expertise with us!

Next up: Memoir writing workshop in January!

Thank you, brave Veterans, for your selfless sacrifice and devoted service! 🇺🇸 We're forever grateful!

A special thank you to the VFW Post 10818 New Richmond/St Croix and Auxiliary for participating in the heartfelt service honoring our Veterans at Woodland Hill. The Flag Folding Ceremony and POW/MIA Table Ceremony inspired deep reflection. Each Veteran was presented a certificate, pin, and a coupon for a free meal, a small token of our deepest appreciation! 🎖️

Our 1st Annual Trick or Treat was a huge success! Residents and staff alike had fun handing out treats and there was a few tricks too! 👻Thanks to everyone who contributed to the event’s success!

Erin, fitness instructor, and the Tai Chi class at Woodland Hill were presented with a custom painting by local artist Gloria Adrian.
Titled "Older & Wiser - Tai Chi," the painting is part of Gloria's series on active older adults. The piece features Erin and the ladies in the Tai Chi class.
We are grateful for Gloria's generous gift and have proudly displayed the painting by the Wellness Center. If you are in the building, we encourage you to stop by and admire this beautiful painting!
