Back and bigger than ever... (bringing an ensemble!)

Join Settle Into Stillness as they celebrate 15 years of guiding Sound Journeys around the world.

Each Sound Journey is thoughtfully crafted to lead you inward and gently return you back. Resting in a comfortable, supported savasana, you’ll be immersed in a soundscape woven from handpan, didgeridoo, gongs, crystal singing bowls, harp, voice, world percussion, strings, and more, played with skill, intention, sensitivity, and care.

Today, the Settle Into Stillness Ensemble is known for creating one of the most refined, immersive, and transformative Sound Journey experiences in the world. Their work is the result of slow, organic growth: thousands of hours of practice, listening, deep study, performance, travel, and a devotion to honing their craft.

Streamed by millions, and played live for thousands of people across the world through their events and retreats, offering a space of rest, clarity, and inner connection. What emerges is not “sound healing,” but rather a space where each listener can cultivate their own inner awareness and guide.

This is the Sound Journey you’ve been searching for.

So excited to officially welcome Kaity Carlson to the YLB fam!

You’ve probably seen her around - behind the desk, on the mat and at the barre… but beginning this week - you can catch Kaity for 6am Power Yoga Express every Tuesday and we are so excited!

Her classes are rooted in the rhythms of nature and the wisdom of the body- supported by intentionally curated playlists featuring artists from Hippie Sabotage to Tyler Childers and Kaleo. She completed her first yoga teacher training on the island of Oahu, where she has taught styles ranging from Power Vinyasa to Yin and Yoga Nidra.

Inspired by the natural world, Kaity creates space where strength and softness coexist. Her teaching weaves breath, intuitive movement, and stillness to help students reconnect - to themselves, the earth, and the cycles we all move through.

Outside the studio, she can usually be found outdoors: exploring, reading, or walking the dogs.

Given the continuation of the level 2 snow emergency we have decided to cancel evening classes and give crews extra time and space to clear the streets and parking lots.

Classes resume as scheduled Tuesday morning 6am Power (regardless of school cancellations for cold temperatures). Come warm up with us then and stay safe and cozy today!

Ok soooo the forecast doesn't seem to be changing so we are gonna call a snow day for Sunday all day and Monday morning classes (to give everyone a chance to dig out.)

Monday afternoon classes are on notice. Seems like everything will be wrapped up by then. But, stay tuned.

If you are registered for a class that is cancelled you will receive an email and your class credit back.

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy:

In the event Hudson City Schools preemptively cancel for SNOW reasons the night before, 6am classes will be cancelled.

We do not cancel for cold related issues and the rest of the day will carry on as scheduled unless there is a snow emergency or driving ban.

We make every attempt to stay open and to notify everyone ASAP if anything changes.

Students that are pre-registered will get an email* in the event of a cancellation and you will not lose class credits if we cancel a class.

Social media stories will be updated with any additional cancellations. The Mindbody schedule is always up to date and the best place to check for up to the minute news.

PS If you want to cancel your registration in the app - it is now located under your "profile" rather than the class schedule where you "book".

PPS *You must opt in to email notifications to receive updates.

TL;DR we are probably open. ❄️
