Thank You to Megan Boldig - Xcel Energy Wisconsin Community Relations Manager for bringing a great volunteering opportunity to BRIDGE! Yesterday for their Day of Service, Xcel Volunteers along with BRIDGE staff and clients built a new bench, cleaned out our mini vans, and helped clean up our green spaces at Brakke. We had a wonderful time partnering with them and were grateful for their help!

In 2004, several families came together to form an organization that would be devoted to providing opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities as they transitioned into adulthood. Our volunteer effort resulted in the formation of BRIDGE For Youth & Adults with Disabilities, now known as BRIDGE For Community Life.
Today BRIDGE serves over 300 individuals yearly and continues to operate with a holistic approach to life: that a balance of life skills development, continued learning, recreation, and leisure leads to healthy minds and bodies.
Our clients live in St. Croix & Pierce counties in Wisconsin and Washington County in Minnesota. We offer programs and services year-round with a focus on creating opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities in a highly integrated setting.
BRIDGE has recruited and developed a first-rate staff of dedicated, hard-working, and full-hearted individuals who show up every day to befriend and care for our clients and we understand how important our staff is to the quality of life our clients lead.
BRIDGE offers competitive wages, paid training, health insurance, PTO, and 401K options for employees and are always looking for ways to improve staff working conditions.
OUR MISSION:
BRIDGE collaborates with school, county and community agencies in providing lifelong learning opportunities for youth and others with disabilities
OUR VISION:
Youth and adults with disabilities will be seen as community assets to be nurtured and developed so that they can become welcome, productive and engaged citizens in the community.
