Take just a moment and really think about biting into a lemon...

Think about how sour it is...

How is your tongue reacting?

What do you smell?

Is your mouth starting to water a bit?

This is one of the simplist ways to show the power of the mind

A thought can cause a physical reaction

Your body has physical responses to thoughts all day long, some of which you may be to distracted to even notice - but just because you don't notice, doesn't mean they aren't happening

Now if you are running on thoughts of - I'm not enough, I'm stupid, I'm fat, I'm ugly, I'm unlovable and so on - what do you think is happening inside you? (if you haven't watched the rice video recently posted - please do!)

On the flip side - what if you think things you are grateful for - thoughts about a pet you adore, thoughts of humans you love...

Your mind causes physical responses within your body - are you thinking thoughts that make you feel good or s**tty?

I've lifted my entire adult life

I've been a trainer for nearly 2 decades with my main focus being on resistance training

And then one day I went downstairs to my home gym and just couldn't do it anymore

I put my hands on the weights and all I heard was "NO, not now"

I was at a bit of a loss because pushing weight around has always been how I "got my head right"

Since then (2021) - I had to find alternative ways to move

Stretching was one of the most impactful techniques I brought in and as you all know, when I find something that works I share 😊

Society as a whole, is in a constant state of stress. The amount of anxiety meds + antidepressants is a true indicator to that

Having been in the industry since 2005, I’ve seen a variety of approaches to health + fitness + wellness. This experience lead me to create my signature Blissful Balance program-a complete wellness program that incorporates the mind, body and spirit for a more holistic approach to my client’s health. While most immediately think that the body is the first thing to work on to get β€œfit” I believe the mind + spirit are just as important. With this philosophy, I share different ways to look at life while giving you habits to improve the mind + body + spirit. All of these areas contribute to your overall well-being!

First-YOUR MIND. Your mind is a POWERFUL thing and what you think matters! Are you a cup 1/2 full, 1/2 empty or who the hell cares...it can always be filled up kind of person? Do you believe life happens to you or you are the creator of your reality? Do you hold grudges or forgive? These are little things that add up and contribute to your overall health! I meet your exactly where you are and share with you science + some other spiritual stuff to help you learn how to use your mind to improve your world!

Second-YOUR BODY. You can work with me 1-1 or with a partner in my home gym or join a crew at Anytime Fitness for classes. To train the body-we use a variety of resistance training, intervals and yoga. These three methods combined together build muscle, burn fat and increase flexibility. Your body is a glorious temple that has been gifted to you during this earth bound journey and it is your divine responsibility to take care of it! The healthier you are the more you can do...so let’s get healthy and make this world a better place!

Third-YOUR SPIRIT. Yep, we pray, support and encourage each other. My religion is love, so all are welcomed! We are all walking our own journey, yet we are all together. When we open up to others-we see how similar our struggles are, making them much easier to navigate. You are not alone in baggage, pain, hurt and circumstances that have caused wounds. Now is the time to recognize what has happened to you + deal with it + move forward with your life. You can deal with your s**t or you can pass it on to the generations to follow.
