SNEAK PEEK ALERT --- CCH-Hudson's elves 🎄⛄️have been busy making lots of crafts and goodies for our Annual Craft & Bake Sale this Friday & Saturday! If you are interested in donating baked goods or your own craft please contact Deb Tonsager @ 715-386-4524. 100% of the proceeds go to our resident’s entertainment throughout the year!

The sale is Friday, November 21st 12-5:00pm AND Saturday, November 22nd from 9:00am-3:00pm, and held in the Marie Blakeman Center on our campus.

Last month, before all the beautiful leaves were blown from the trees, some residents from Cedar Ridge and River Glen in Osceola took a trip out and about to check out the amazing array of colors! We also stopped at a pumpkin patch where residents learned a bit about pumpkins and squash. They enjoyed a slice of fresh pumpkin bread and were able to feed the animals before loading the bus back to CCHO! It was a wonderful way to spend a fall day!

Today we had the privilege of honoring several Veterans who call our campus home.
These brave men were recognized during a special worship service led by our Chaplain Bob—himself a Veteran. It was a heartfelt time of gratitude, reflection, and prayer as we celebrated their service and sacrifice.

Thank you to Applebee's Grill + Bar for providing lunches for our Pine Ridge and Willow Glen veterans. The men appreciated your kindness, generosity and GREAT FOOD!!!

To all Veterans: thank you for your courage, commitment, and love for our country. We honor you today and every day.

Today we ended our Halloween fun with a visit from students of the Osceola Intermediate School who brought in some pumpkins they decorated for our residents to enjoy! They did such an amazing job! We had some super cute little trick or treaters stop by for some candy, a staff pumpkin decorating contest, a costume contest, and our Halloween/October Birthday Party!

Our costume contest participants/groups included:
The Crazy Cat Lady & All Her Cats
Peanut Butter & Jelly
The Scooby Doo Gang
Where’s Waldo

And with the loudest round of applause, the winner was….
The Scooby Doo Gang!

Based on votes received the winners of the pumpkin decorating contest were…
1st Place: Fallen Witch In Caldron ( #7)
2nd Place: Pinocchio ( #6)
3rd Place: Owl ( #2)
