Yesterday, we were delighted to celebrate our residents who have August birthdays. Our 2 birthday "boys" are James S. and Larry J. They were cute in how they let everyone know that 1 turned 96 years old and the other is a "young pup" at the age of 95!

This party was sponsored by 2 of Hudson's Bethel Lutheran Church's Circles. The Mary Circle provided the entertainment, led by Bobbi Pominville, and the Ruth Circle brought and served delicious cake and punch. THANK YOU very much to each of you!

We are so happy that the rain finally stopped on Saturday so our beautiful CCH ambassador Ann Zastrow could represent us in the North Hudson Pepper Fest parade! A huge shout out to our amazing staff and volunteers who made this happen.

"Cocktails and Charades" is the newest Pine Ridge Assisted Living program...and the residents who participated last night said "this ones a keeper!"

Our group enjoyed conversation and their favorite evening cocktail (ranging from sparkling water and wine to Gin and Tonics) as well as an amazing game of Charades. Please enjoy the pictures and see if you are able to figure out what each resident was acting out. Oh, and by the way, no one fell down...Carol takes her Charades seriously🤣)

CCH- Hudson is celebrating our Positivity Week this week! Between matching wardrobes and a daily snack/refreshment cart- we are in for a week filled with smiles and great energy!

We have been taking advantage of the amazing weather we've had so far this summer! Here are a few photos of residents from our Osceola Campus enjoying some wet and wild outdoor fun complete with freeze pops! On those perfect days, in between the super hot heat, the rain, and the crazy air quality alerts, we've had the Trishaw Bike out for some rides around the OMC trail. Residents are able to sit back, enjoy the scenery and feel the breeze blowing in their hair. We can't forget our SECOND visit from the Street Treats Ice Cream Truck as well! A definite summer must and huge hit with both residents & staff!

Each month we offer a lunch outing to residents at a different restaurant in the area. Last month we visited Pizza Pub in Center City, MN and enjoyed a variety of pizzas from the pizza buffet! This month we went to the Taylor's Falls Drive-In Restaurant. The weather was amazing and the root beer floats were tasty - but the conversation was even better! Thank you to our amazing volunteers Lynn & Barb for all your help during these outings!

We had another wonderful afternoon celebrating summer AND frozen Street Treats Ice Cream! It is so much fun hearing the sounds of the ice cream truck stopping by for a visit. It was a beautiful day to sit outside enjoying our goodies and chatting with one another.

Tonight’s weather kept us inside however the smiles and Rootbeer Floats were many! The Auxiliary’s concert in the Garden was a success and Bandanaaah had everyone singing and laughing. The night was concluded with a beautiful double rainbow!

Worried about parking? Park at WinterGreen and hop aboard the Stillwater Trolley that will pick up @ 5PM and return after!
Tickets are $70 just stop by our Hudson or Osceola campus.
All proceeds will support programs, events and services that enrich the lives of our older adults. Let's Cruise for a cause and create memories together!
