This month we’re celebrating Lynda Wiseman, Care Center Manager at our Spruce Pine and Burnsville clinics!

Lynda has been working in healthcare for more than 50 years, starting as an RN and later growing into leadership. She’s seen practices evolve, welcomed countless team members, and helped shape the way seniors receive care in our small-town communities.

Her favorite milestone? Joining Hopscotch in 2023, where she continues to bring her wisdom, compassion, and energy to the team every single day.

One year ago, Hurricane Helene brought unforeseen challenges to Western North Carolina. Our towns, patients, and teams all felt the impact. Through it all, care didn’t stop.

Our team checked on patients, supported one another, and found creative ways to keep care going when normal routines were disrupted. We are deeply proud of how our team showed up for patients and one another in the face of such challenges, and we are continually inspired by the resilience of our communities.

🌟 Provider Spotlight: Shoutout to Megan Vestal, FNP-C 🌟

From a young age, Megan knew she wanted to be a nurse and she’s spent the past 10 years caring for patients in a variety of settings.

After earning her undergraduate degree from Lee McRae College and her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Georgia, she became a Nurse Practitioner to provide families with the same personal support and advocacy she had admired in local providers throughout her career.

Outside of the clinic, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and close friends / family, and even running a small wood laser engraving business with her husband.

We’re thrilled to have Megan on our Hopscotch Primary Care team, where her passion for senior-based care shines every day!
