Today we celebrated Purim, the Jewish holiday commemorating the saving of the Jewish people by Queen Esther!

We learned about the traditions that make Purim special and chatted about other cultures and holidays we have experienced throughout our lives.

We ended with some applying Henna, a dye made from dried powdered leaves. These cool tattoos should stick around for about a week!

Our lunch bunch traveled to Peninsula today for Fishers Pub!

Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The weather held and the sun was shining, so, we can’t complain!

To round out our celebration of Black History Month we dropped off our collection of books to our school partners over at the Nest School in Hudson.

We learned about Usain Bolt’s journey into Olympic gold athlete.

Leah was our reader and we ended the reading with a coloring activity!
