Burkwood Treatment Center

Burkwood Treatment Center Burkwood Treatment Center has been providing comprehensive and caring addiction treatment to residents of Wisconsin and Minnesota since 1991.

For more than 20 years, Burkwood Treatment Center has specialized in providing effective, comprehensive care for adult men and women, ages 18 and above, who are struggling with alcoholism, chemical dependency, and some co-occurring disorders. Located at the end of a quiet street in picturesque Hudson, Wisconsin, Burkwood is a place of hope and healing, where men and women in crisis receive life-changing care in a nurturing environment that is conducive to spiritual enrichment and emotional growth. When a man or woman enters treatment at Burkwood, he or she is never in danger of becoming “just another patient.” Instead, all who choose to heal with us have the opportunity to work in active partnership with the members of their treatment team to develop personalized treatment plans that are specifically customized to help them achieve their unique recovery goals. At Burkwood Treatment Center, we understand that chemical dependency is a chronic, progressive disease that can be diagnosed and treated, and we believe that abstinence is the beginning of permanent recovery. Our treatment is based upon the philosophy that self-defeating behaviors can be replaced with healthy habits, and that accepting personal responsibility is a key to lasting sobriety.
