Exercise is powerful medicine, especially during and after cancer treatment.

New research from the New England Journal of Medicine shows that cancer patients who followed a structured, personalized exercise program for three years saw a 37% improvement in survival rates and a 28% decrease in recurrence compared to those receiving standard care.

At TherapySouth, we believe exercise is an essential part of oncology care. Our physical therapists work with you to create an individualized plan to restore strength, function, and quality of life after cancer treatment.

Testimonial Time!

Here at TherapySouth Hueytown, your goals are our goals! Mr. Roberson had a Total Knee Replacement in late August of 2023 and his goals focused around staying active with activities he enjoys.

With some help from Jason and our staff, he was able to do just that by going on a ski trip earlier this month! This is an amazing accomplishment and we are beyond happy to see Mr. Roberson doing what he loves!
