Welcome to the Parents Affected By Addiction (PABA) page This is a page for parents, grand parents, brothers, sisters, aunts uncles, care givers and anyone else who wants to better understand the challenges our loved ones face when it comes to drugs. We meet monthly in the Southern Maryland counties (Charles, Calvert and St. Our Vision is to create a network of support and empowerment for parents and families whose children and loved ones are using drugs; encourage recovering addicts to tell their stories of pain (experienced personally and inflicted on loved ones), turning points, and recovery; advocate and lobby for anti-drug laws and legislation. We want to use the pain we have experienced in living with and loving an addict to help others who might walk down a similar path.

Happy New Year !! I propose a gathering of all who can make it on Thursday, Jan. 29 @ Ledo's in Charlotte Hall @ 6pm. Let's spend some time, catching up, sharing the GOOD in our lives, and if we need to vent about the "bad" .. we'll do that too and support each other all the way !! As 2025 comes to an end, I apologize for not keeping up with posts and meetings, there’s been job changes, lots going on in life .. we’ll need hours to catch up on every thing as I’m sure everyone had positive things happening! Maybe .. In 2026… instead of a “meeting”…. We can all just meet for dinner one evening. I WILL say the support I have received from this group over the years has 1000% kept me sane.. and continues to feed my soul, for that I thank you. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
