Today back at the Capitol for HF 3339 Coverage of Orthotic and Prosthetic Devices with the House Health Finance and Policy Committee Hearing. Excited that it passed thru for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. So Every BODY Can Move Minnesota!

March 20th we were at the Capitol supporting SF 3351 Coverage requirement for orthotic and prosthetic devices. The Committee on Health and Human Services laid it over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. So Every BODY Can Move Minnesota!

We are so proud that CBS Paramount CSI Vegas reached out to Heidi’s Legs to fabricate the prosthetic props for episode 302 “Scar Tissue”, which airs tomorrow Sunday Feb 25 at 9 pm locally. The Park Rapids Enterprise article “Bemidji Man Helps Ukrainians in need of limbs” caught the attention of Wade’s parents who shared with us. A few hours earlier Wade fit Artem with his arm. Wade’s mom contacted the newspaper and shared our contact information. We received a call for an interview. Shannon did a fantastic job writing this article. We are happy mention was made to two non-profits: Protez Foundation and Wiggle Your Toes. We are just a small part of the big picture.

The first job to leave our shop - Pro bono, which we are proud and believe it is good karma for Heidi’s Legs
A group of 5 Ukrainian soldiers came to Minnesota to receive donated prosthetics through Protez Foundation. We were able to donate legs for one of the soldiers, a bilateral below knee amputee. The soldiers attended the Wiggle Your Toes Mobility Clinic where Wade and several other volunteers collaborated to help them walk before receiving their final prosthetic legs.
