While many of us are inside watching the weather, linemen are out in it.
They’re working long hours in the cold, often away from their families, and many have traveled from out of state to help get the lights back on. This work is hard, exhausting, and dangerous—and they’re doing it so you can stay warm and safe.
Please be kind.
Please be patient.
If you see a crew in your area, a simple thank you goes a long way. If you’re able, a cup of coffee, hot cocoa, or a warm meal can mean more than you know on a long, cold day.
They’ll get the power back on.
Until then—let’s take care of the people taking care of us. 💡⚡
