Knowing your numbers is crucial for business and in medicine. Metabolic panels (groupings of labs that help us to understand what is happening internally) are a huge part of how we assess patients. If you're an adult that has seen a doctor in the last 20 years, I bet you've had a metabolic panel.

Too often patients are unaware of what these values really mean. This tutorial gives a bird's eye view of one of the most commonly ordered test in medicine, the comprehensive metabolic panel.
