Team Harbor Hospice Goes the Distance! 🏃‍♀️💜

This morning, our Victoria team came together to participate in the 9th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer 5K, hosted by Citizens Medical Center, all in support of local patients battling cancer.

One of our team members shared:

“My first ever 5K!! I have to be honest, I was nervous when I woke up, but quickly remembered I wanted to do this for my Dad, my friends, and family who’ve battled cancer, and every patient I’ve cared for who lost their battle. Team Harbor Hospice did amazing!!” 💪💜

We couldn’t be prouder of our Harbor Hospice team for showing up with strength, heart, and compassion, the same qualities they demonstrate in caring for our patients every day.

We are proud to announce that our Harbor Hospice Victoria office is the winner of this year’s Hunger Hero Challenge! 🏆💜

Victoria secured the most monetary donations and was named the overall champion for our business sizein by Food Bank of the Golden Crescent

We are so grateful to everyone who donated, cheered us on, and followed along throughout September. Together, we raised awareness, funds, and meals to help heal the hurt of hunger in our community. 🥫✨

Denise Allen began her journey on June 6, 2015, and has been working here for over 10 years. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant for Harbor Hospice of Lufkin. We are grateful for the tremendous time and energy you have spent being a part of our team over the years. In healthcare, finding people you can count on is essential.
