As a child my mom would tell me that she was going "Nellie's room behind the wallpaper!", whenever I would ask her "Where are you going?". I am not joking when I tell you that I

believed that there was a secret room hidden behind the wallpaper in my house. I remember wandering around the house looking for this portal at every wallpaper seam. As it would turn out this magic room was just a way for my mom to go do things to unwind, get away from stress, go to dinner with my dad and on many occasions enjoy a beauty appointment. So it seemed fitting that I would eventually name my salon"Behind the Wallpaper" for the salon because it makes you wonder what is behind the wallpaper, what is the wallpaper. The answer is simple behind the makeup, pollution and sun there is a more beautiful you waiting."
