Our theme for today was Hawaiian Day. What a beautiful day for our Luau Party. We had lots of fun with hula hoops, limbo, pinata, music, and some great refreshing drinks. What a joy to see smiles and lots of laughter on our residents' faces. Love them.

Next week is National Nursing Home Week
We have been working for the last 3 days pulling weeds,trimming trees .Friday 8th we are going back out to finish sprusing the rest, if anyone would like to come and help it would be very much appreciated.

An exciting new service that Colonial Acres will be able to offer is coming soon! We received our arm today lol. With this arm; IV therapy, PICC line therapy, blood draw, and injection skills can be refreshed! In doing this we are hopeful to decrease hospitalization stays for our residents by being able to administer IV fluids and IV antibiotics right here in the comfort of their home!
