THANK YOU to everyone who took time yesterday to visit us, call us, send flowers and well wishes. We enjoyed being able to show off our space and meet new and familiar faces.

This journey began 2 years ago in Iowa, but this vision has been 10 years in the making. ❤️🫶 Thank you to everyone who has helped curate this vision over the last decade. This work is meaningful because we are able to do this work together -- with our clients, our colleagues and our community. It is the greatest honor and privilege of my life to hold space for those who need a safe harbor. It is not lost on myself or this amazing team what a privilege it is to be part of your healing experience. - Nolan

Our words carry more weight than we sometimes realize. A kind message, a simple check-in, or a moment of truly listening can make someone feel seen, valued, and supported.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s be mindful of how we speak to others and to ourselves. Words have the power to uplift, to comfort, and to heal.

Choose them with care. You never know the difference they might make.

It’s okay to not be okay. 💚

Mental health matters, and no one should struggle alone. Today is Make It OK Day, a reminder to start conversations, show support, and break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Join us today by participating in our walk or simply wearing green to help raise awareness for mental health! Every conversation, every step, and every act of support makes a difference. 💚

This is an important reminder!

So often we expect children and adults to be their best selves, yet we overlook what it takes to get there.

We have to start at the bottom. Mental Health and well-being is a systemic process, involving so many moving parts. We have to care for all parts of our system (remember Lambert's Common Factors Model) before we can truly feel a deep connection to ourselves.

Show Up. Advocate. Be Curious. Be Compassionate.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — and this one is for the providers.

Yesterday, May 12th, was National Mental Health Provider Appreciation Day. And by golly, do we appreciate our team! 💚🫶

You hold space for trauma, grief, anxiety, and the unseen weight people carry. You show up grounded, present, and steady… even when your own nervous system is stretched thin.

But here’s the truth:
You are not immune to burnout just because you’re trained to treat it.

Being a mental health provider does not mean:
• You have to carry it all alone
• You should always “have it together”
• Your needs come last

You deserve to be authentic — not just clinically competent, but fully human.

Because authenticity isn’t a liability in this field — it’s what makes connection possible.

This month, your mental health matters too.

Check in with yourself:
Are you overextended?
Are you absorbing more than you’re releasing?
Are you giving yourself the same compassion you offer your clients?
Are you working in a space that actually supports who you are becoming?

Sustainable care requires sustainable clinicians — and sustainable environments.

Take the break.
Set the boundary.
Say no without over-explaining.
Find or help create spaces that support authenticity, support, learning, and growth.

You deserve support, not just the responsibility of giving it.

Pippa girl was missing in action while we completed renovations and did some office sharing. She is back and is super excited to be with all of her friends again!

Make sure you give her some snuggles this week when you are in the office! ❤️🫶🐶

Mondays get a bad rap, but we don't mind them here.

It is an opportunity to open the planner, write out our week, list our goals, and get to work.

Be intentional with your Monday. You got this. 💚🫶🙌

Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, foster moms, grieving moms, hoping-to-be moms, and every person who shows up with love, care, patience, and strength.

Motherhood is beautiful, meaningful, exhausting, healing, overwhelming, joyful, and hard — sometimes all at once. Today we honor not only the moments that make the photos, but also the unseen emotional labor, the late nights, the worries, the sacrifices, and the resilience behind the scenes.

As mental health providers, we want to remind you:
❤️You do not have to do it all perfectly.
❤️ Rest is productive.
❤️Asking for support is strength.
❤️Your mental health matters too.

To every caregiver carrying heavy things while still showing up with love — we see you.

Wishing you gentleness, connection, and moments of peace today. ❤️🫶
