Here at The Heart of Play, we care deeply about not just our clients, but our entire community. We know this world seems scary and uncertain. We encourage everyone to do what they can at this time to support your community and neighbors in need.

We have created a list of local and state resources for food and shelter. We have also included information on where you can donate if you are able to do so.

Our state Senators and Representatives in Congress are also listed. We encourage you to reach out and encourage them to work together to reopen our government and end this shutdown. American families are hurting. They don't have to be.

As we become aware of additional local and state resources, we will update this document. If you are aware of any resources not listed on this document, please reach out to us!

Below are safety tips for those trick-or-treating this evening! 🫶🧡

🕯️ Plan Your Route – Stick to well-lit neighborhoods and familiar streets.
🚸 Stay Visible – Add reflective tape to costumes or carry glow sticks/flashlights.
🍬 Check the Treats – Only enjoy candy that’s sealed and from trusted homes.
🧙 Costume Safety – Make sure costumes fit well and don’t block vision or movement.
🚗 Watch for Cars – Cross at corners, use sidewalks, and look both ways.
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Stay Together – Kids should always trick-or-treat with a group or adult.

While more research is needed, early studies and clinical experiences suggest that ketamine can enhance EMDR therapy by reducing fear responses, increasing neuroplasticity, and accelerating symptom relief. ⏰ Plan your day. Schedule your priorities, not just your to-do list.
💧 Take care of your body. Rest, hydrate, and nourish yourself — energy fuels discipline.
