💗 Why I Love Speech Therapy:
“Speech therapy allows me to make a difference in people’s lives. Helping someone find their voice through improving speech, language, and overall communication skills is so rewarding. I love the creativity it takes to develop activities that meet each person’s unique needs — and seeing my clients progress is the best part!”

📍 Originally from Utah, Brylee earned both her BS (2023) and MA (2025) in Speech-Language Pathology from Utah State University. She recently made the move here as her husband pursues his own educational journey — and we’re thrilled to have her here!

🌿 Team Spotlight: Emily Spencer, OTR/L 🌿

Say hello to Emily Spencer, one of our amazing Occupational Therapists! With a warm heart and a creative spirit, Emily brings energy, expertise, and fun to every therapy session.

Since becoming an OT in 2018, Emily has worked in a variety of pediatric settings — including school-based therapy, early intervention, outpatient care, and acute care. She’s a proud graduate of Elizabethtown College, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health & Occupation and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. 🎓

🧠🎨 “I love incorporating sensory motor play and movement into my therapy sessions to keep things engaging and effective,” Emily says. And it shows — her sessions are full of creativity, motion, and meaningful progress!

When she’s not at work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband — working out, getting outdoors, participating in church activities, and soaking up time with family (and their adorable cats 🐱). She’s also a big fan of animals, coffee, houseplants, and sunshine.

We’re so lucky to have Emily on our team, helping kids grow stronger every day. 🌞💪

Meet Braelyn Latimore, one of our incredible Speech-Language Pathologists! Braelyn brings passion, warmth, and dedication to everything she does.

Every day, I get to help others communicate more effectively, enjoy meals safely and confidently, and thrive both inside and outside of the clinic. It’s a privilege to support children and their families in such essential parts of their lives. I thoroughly enjoy witnessing their growth along the way.”

📚 Braelyn earned her degrees from James Madison University and Pennsylvania State University, and she’s proud to call Harrisburg and Hershey, PA home. As the youngest of three siblings, family is everything to her — especially spending time with her almost 1-year-old niece! 👶💕

When she's not in the clinic, you’ll often find Braelyn teaching dance — blending her creativity and love of movement into every routine. 💃

Let’s shine a light on the little voices who face BIG airway challenges every day.

👶✨ Our wonderful Pediatric speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are proud to support children with:

🔹 Vocal Cord Paralysis – impacting voice, breathing, and swallowing
🔹 Phonation Difficulties – making it hard for a child to produce clear sounds
🔹 Hoarseness, Breathiness, Weak Voice – often signs of vocal fold issues
🔹 Aspiration & Dysphagia – when food or liquid goes down the wrong way, risking choking or lung infections
🔹 Breathing-Sucking-Swallowing Incoordination – especially in preemies or infants with complex medical needs

Behind each diagnosis is a child learning to eat safely, communicate confidently, and breathe with ease—and a dedicated team helping them every step of the way. 💪💬
