Spring yard work can take a toll on your body if you are not careful with lifting, bending, and repetitive movements. Simple habits like keeping loads close to your body, bending at your knees, and taking stretch breaks can help prevent back strain while gardening or landscaping. If pain starts to interfere with the activities you enjoy, our team is here to help you recover and move comfortably again. 🌱

Our Story

How are we different from other physical therapy clinics? Patients love visiting Columbus Physical Therapy (CPT) and Humphrey Physical Therapy for so many reasons. Those who have been to other physical therapy centers say that we are more caring, more compassionate and far more attentive to their needs. That’s because we understand that people in pain need, more than anything else, to feel good again. They want to return to function so they can have their lives back. By combining our collective skills, training, knowledge and experience, we also achieve better results for our patients. What you can expect from Columbus Physical Therapy? Reliability – Proven expertise, dedication to quality, licensed therapists with a high level of ethics. Expertise and Individual Care – Professional treatment personalized for your unique injury. Responsive Customer Care – Same-day appointments available, prompt scheduling and insurance verification. Faster Results – Consistent, high-quality physical therapy that quickly gets you back to work, play and life. Convenience –We are located close to work and home, making it easier to keep appointments. Plus, acceptance of over most major insurance plans and PPO networks. Community Service by Management and Staff CPT recognizes that the community supports our success. We give back by participating with charitable organizations through volunteerism and donations. Our employees are personally involved in a variety of community and civic activities, including: Columbus-area Chamber of Commerce events, school booster boards, church functions, YMCA, Go Red For Women, youth sports and Relay for Life, just to mention a few. Working with patients in our community has inspired CPT to donate to organizations such as Relay for Life, American Heart Association, American Cancer Association, American Red Cross and other local charities that benefit our community. Innovative products, service & customer service. CPT was the first to identify a need for and develop a Performance Enhancement Program for area high-school athletes. We have had such a tremendous response that even athletes from surrounding communities have joined our program. CPT regularly speaks at community civic groups, industrial safety meetings and local support groups on health-related topics. We assist in the local high-school sports physicals, YMCA and community health fairs, Respite and other annual community events. To schedule an appointment with us, please call our CPT office at 402-564-5456. For our Humphrey office call 402-923-1011 or you can use our online Request an Appointment form.
