We’re proud to recognize Renee Morales, RN as the recipient of the 2026 MNCHA Nurse of the Year Award 🏆

In 1984 Renee graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in nursing. Renee immediately put her nursing degree to use by working at Easton Memorial Hospital and Shady Grove Medical Center in acute care for 4 years.
Even in nursing school Renee was drawn to community health. When the opportunity presented itself, Renee went to Adventist Health Care and began her home health care journey in April,1988. Renee decided that she had more to bring to the occupation of being a nurse and more to give to her patients.
Renee wanted to make a difference - one patient at a time. Homecare would give her the opportunity to do that.
This year Renee will celebrate 38 years with Adventist Health Care. Every year with every patient over these many years Renee found her extended family. Home care has had its own rewards. It made Renee more patient and she learned her assignment. To help families to understand the health care needs of their loved ones and their role in helping improve and maintain their health, to the best of their ability.
Lord, May I make a difference in all I do, The words I say, and the actions I take. Lord, May I glorify you, that you might be pleased with me.

Congratulations, Renee, on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your impact on the homecare community!
