I get this question a lot “how can I get stronger if the strengthening exercises hurt me?”

This patient right here came in with significant right knee pain and was having trouble competing at the highest level in her track meets. In my last post, I showed you all some techniques I used in her initial assessment to drive her treatment plan.

Here is a glimpse of some strategies to train around pain. All of these movements are pain free, but improving her strength and capacity to compete.

It is so important to receive guidance when rehabbing, because you can limit your setbacks, which can get you back to performing at your best sooner!

Low Back Tightness! Can be cause by a number of things...stiffness in the joints, muscles, and/or pain from some form of trauma. The key to relieving it requires finding the underlying cause and adding the right dosage of movement. Share with someone that complains of LOW BACK TIGHTNESS.
